Initiatives

As mentioned in the home page; one of our goals is to assist various charities and community projects. In 2015 we have already committed to the following causes:

Thandulwazi - We give our time and financial support:
- Thandulwazi is an education programme run by the St Stithians Foundation. This year members of JACASS are volunteering to tutor grade 12 accounting on Saturdays (for more information please take a look at their website: (www.thandulwazi.com)
- In addition, JACASS has helped the Thandulwazi Programme to obtain calculators for their students

Bursaries - We aim to plough back into the accounting industry, and thus provide financial aid for selected students

Monetary donations - At the end of each year; JACASS donates money to well deserving causes. The 2014 donations made were made to the following organisations:
- Carl Sithole R50 000
- Door of Hope R50 000
- Lebohang R20 000
- Happy Yappers R20 000
- Leratong R20 000
